AhlulBayt News Agency: On Monday, the Iranian and Saudi Foreign Ministers engaged in a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral relations as well as key regional and international developments.
According to Mehr News Agency, At the outset of the call, the Saudi Foreign Minister expressed his sorrow over the tragic explosion at Iran's Shahid Rajaee Port. He conveyed Saudi Arabia's condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, the Iranian government, and its people, while also offering prayers for the swift recovery of those injured.
The Iranian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for the messages of sympathy received from senior Saudi officials.
Highlighting the escalating insecurity in the region caused by the Zionist regime's ongoing crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as its repeated assaults on Lebanon, Araqchi outlined Iran's stance on regional issues. He urged the international community to take action against what he described as the greatest genocide of the century.
Araqchi also updated his Saudi counterpart on the latest progress in the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States.
